No,most likely the balance of things will end up in the vault where all the other music we don't get to hear resides.

I suppose it's a test of the timeless appeal and value of the Dead's music, along with recording tape quality and archiving methods; imagine the interest in and condition of unheard GD tapes 10, 50 or 100 years from now. Lost and wasted legends in the making.

The band is never going to be more popular than they are right now,as their audience ages it diminishes.I know I'm not getting any younger and could give a shit about what's available to people in the future,I put in my time and would like to be able to listen to stuff that is just sitting on a shelf somewhere. So I think they could do a much better job in getting us the music. They could also throw us a bone and give away a lot of the stuff they know is never going to be put out on an official release, give some copies of stuff as is from the vault to people like Gans and Charlie Miller and let them have at it to transfer and route to the proper channels of distribution. It wouldn't hurt their sales and would reward a very faithful fan base who truly love and value the music. As it is now the music is being wasted.

Exactly, and imagine this world and where we'd all be WITHOUT all of GD music that is available to the masses.
